Template Globals

Curvea templates receive values through their current render scope. Some values are engine-provided and others depend on the current page, layout, component, or directive.

CurrentYear

CurrentYear is the reserved Curvea runtime global:

{{ CurrentYear }}

Use the exact casing CurrentYear. User data cannot override this name.

site

When site configuration is available, templates can read values such as:

{{ site.name }}
{{ site.description }}
{{ site.language }}
{{ site.url }}
{{ site.basePath }}

page

Pages receive structural fields:

{{ page.route }}
{{ page.slug }}
{{ page.id }}

The same object can also contain matching JSON page data or Markdown content metadata.

slot

Layouts and components receive nested rendered content through:

{{ slot }}

Layouts additionally expose the same value as:

{{ content }}

$index

Inside @for, the current zero-based loop index is:

{{ $index }}

pagination

When @paginate is active, pagination data is exposed under pagination, including:

pagination.items
pagination.currentPage
pagination.totalPages
pagination.pages

collection

Content collection index pages expose collection data through collection, including collection.items.
